Solution
Allow the agent to run as Administrator
Disable Managed Antivirus and update the agent then re-enable Managed Antivirus
Run services.msc, then find the Advanced monitoring agent service. Right-click and go to properties. Under the Log On tab, you choose the option to use a specific account and use the Administrator account.
– NOTE: You must use the Administrator account that is built into windows in order for this to work. Any other account even if they have Administrator rights will not work.
– How to enable the Administrator account: Open an elevated command prompt (right-click on the command prompt and click run as administrator) then use the following command net user administrator /active: yes. The same command with no in place of yes will disable the account. you will also need to set a password for that account. even if you end up disabling the account again. Use the following command to set the password net user administrator . Take out the brackets and replace the word password with the desired password. Make sure you restart the service after you set it as an administrator. On the dashboard, double click on the device and under managed antivirus change the drop down menu to off. Then under General Settings, use the drop down to update the agent to the latest stable version, not the RC. Exit the settings menu and then re-run the checks on the device.
Once the agent has updated to the latest version, re-enable Managed antivirus and wait for the install to complete.
