System Health Checks

The objective of this service is to ensure that BankServ products are operating at optimum performance and the highest achievable rates of Straight Through Processing (STP). In addition, the health check is designed to ensure that no underlying technical issues are developing which could ultimately result in system unavailability or failure.

dot Examine system log for warning and error messages

dot Examine individual module logs for warnings and error messages

dot Review system configuration for efficiency and accuracy

dot Review business rules and automation tasks and make recommendations for improvements

dot Monitor performance and resource usage

dot Examine OS and DB versions for correct revision and patch level

dot Present findings and outline recommendations

User Training

Formal classroom-led instruction for new users of BankServ's products. For each product, the following "off the shelf" courses are available:

TurboSwift Operator Training
TurboSwift Message Entry
MessagePro Overview
MessagePro Operator Training

In addition, bespoke training packages can be provided. These can be conducted remotely (MSLive Meeting) or on the customers own premises.

Systems Configuration

On-site or remote System configuration carried out by BankServ Professional Services. Typically, these are to incorporate license upgrades or amendments and/or additions to existing system configuration (e.g. Business Rules change, Back Office integration, Standards Changes). The cost is dependant upon the estimated time effort to:

dot Execute the change in Test environment and Test

dot Promote the change into Production environment

dot Monitor change in production environment


Project Management Services

Formal project management in support of any of the prescribed tasks can also be undertaken by BankServ Professional Services. Typically, this can include:

dot Membership application to SWIFT (New member, MACUG,SCORE etc)

dot Changes in SWIFT registration

dot Implementation of (or migration to) BankServ products


Escrow Services

BankServ’s software source code is held under an Escrow Agreement with the U.S.-based company Iron Mountain. Customers have the option to add themselves as a beneficiary of this agreement.

Cost: One-time fee of $750, plus $250 annually
