BankServ International Distributor Conference
TurboSwift representatives from
around the world gathered at BankServ International's headquarters on November 9th and 10th for the annual distributor conference. Guests included BIT from Bulgaria, Synergy from India, Kordoba from Germany, Finnet from Russia, Omikron from Hungary, Global Consulting from Bulgaria and B&F Soft from Egypt.
In addition to having the opportunity to meet fellow distributors and compare notes amongst themselves, representatives attended seminars on the new product updates, upcoming Phase 2 changes, and the 2007 BankServ market roadmap. The group also found time to visit the city and enjoyed a wine tasting tour on the London Eye.
We thank all those who were in attendance and are hoping to repeat the same programme soon in Miami for our Latin American representatives.
New SWIFT Initiative for Corporates: Survey Says 40 Percent of Corporates are Actively Considering SWIFT Access
Building on the success of the MA-CUG model as a means for corporates to join the SWIFT network, SWIFT has now approved a new model, called SCORE, which will require membership in only one single closed user group rather than one for each business channel. This change is expected to dramatically increase the number of SWIFT connected corporates over the next few years.
New Add-On Tool for TurboSwift: Compliance Reporting
BankServ is proud to announce its newly developed TurboSwift reporting facility
which will easily enable AML and
compliance staff to monitor potential OFAC sensitive data without the necessity for
them to understand complex SWIFT
message structures.
Produced by an easy to install plug-in node
in the TurboSwift workflow, the TurboSwift Compliance Report can be automatically transferred to the AML officer each day either in real time or as part of TurboSwift's end of day processing. And as the information can be exported into a CSV format, it can be analyzed directly in standard desktop tools such as Excel or Access, or imported into non- SWIFT AML applications. To fit each user’s unique needs, there is full control over which message elements and categories are to be included.
