Dennis Mierzwa , Vice President and General Manager (Wire Services)

Dennis Mierzwa is Vice President and General Manager of BankServ's Wire Services division, which includes the Global Funds Exchange (GFX), Global Securities System (GSS) and GFX Foreign Exchange systems for banks. He joined the company in December 2006.

Mr. Mierzwa possesses more than 35 years of experience in the finance industry, most recently with E-Trade, where he served for 10 years and oversaw the development of applications for electronic payments and account funding. His past experience includes time with Texas Commerce Bank, the Bank of California, and Mellon Bank, where he helped develop one of the first-ever computerized Fedwire systems in the 1970s.

A graduate of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, Mr. Mierzwa resides with his wife in Walnut Creek, California. He retired as a colonel from the U.S. Marine Corps after four years of active duty and 21 years in the Marine Reserves.
